We here at Tattoo Zoo are huge music fans and are fortunate enough to live in a city with many a cool band. We are lucky enough to count some of the musicians listed below as our customers and have had some good times listening to music and doing cool work at the studio for them.
FOR RUIN
For Ruin was formed in 2003 in Cork, Ireland as a solo venture by John Murphy who wrote some inital material for the band as early as 1997-98 and recorded three solo demos (Split, Shade and Obsidian) between '04 and '06 before establishing an initial lineup of the band at the end of 2005.
THE NAILDRIVERS
Rude boys take note, Cork's No.1 Ska/Punk/New Wave covers band. Great live show and drummer Ian has some extensive work done here at Tattoo Zoo
DEAD SPARROWS
NYC based rockers featuring none other than Cork's own Graham Finn on guitar ( Emperors, Bass Odyssey, Sylvia Saint). Graham has gotten a few great pieces done at the studio over the years and look forward to doing some more work for him.
REVELATION SOUND
Low end rangers and Dub warriors on patrol, revelation sound are the go to sound system for concious vibrations here on the leeside.
VITAL SPARK
No nonsense pop punk from these young upstarts makes you think of simplier times.
DES ROAR
Another ex - pat living in NYC and another Tattoo Zoo customer, Alan O' Keffee handles rythm guitar duties in this critically acclaimed Brooklyn grpup.
PERISH THE THOUGHT
Metal under the influence of Goth and Punk would be the best way to describe Perish The Thought. Drummer Ian and Guitarist John have both had numerous pieces done here at Tattoo Zoo
STEVIE G
We know little about Hip Hop, Soul and other Urban music here at Tattoo Zoo but what we do know is thanks to this man. A lot of our customers are big Hip Hop fans and always insist on Stevie's podcasts for their listening pleasure.
FREEZER ROOM
Even though Tattoo Zoo is Metal and Hard Rock to the core, we also have our mellow sides. After stressfull days at the studio ( of which there are many) we like nothing more to listen and get lost in the chilled out sounds of Graham White A.K.A Freezer Room
FLATLINE
We are simple men of simple taste and therefore we like our metal heavy and thrash. Enough said.
I'LL EAT YOUR FACE
Not a group you play for your Nan but a great example of how much chaos can be caused with drums and a guitar.
ROARING FORTIES
Cork City's King Of The Swingers, George Patterson has braved the needle on more than one occassion here at Tattoo Zoo and shown the ultimate dedication to the cause by having his bands name, The Roaring Forties, tattooed all along his side!
GMC
The busiest MC in Hip Hop here in Cork. GMC finds the time to only rap, produce beats, run workshops, but also to take part in social activities and youth reach programmes. The real!
CARNUN RISING
Pagan metallers Carnun Rising are a personal favourite of Tattoo Zoo and one of the finest metal bands to emerge from Ireland.
ARM THE ELDERLY
Punk Funkers mix up music and politics. Result? They play it loud with a groove, got something to say to make you think and move. Frontman Strict is a regular customer here at Tattoo Zoo and has amongst many things had his sleeve done here.
